Giving is a fundamental desire, born out of a determination to create change - change of circumstance, change of perspective and even change of destiny.
Gifts can consist of time, talents and whatever it is that you treasure.
Charity, although generally associated with gifts of money, can also consist of giving of your time, your talents and your treasures.
Adults are totally free to give these things - or not. They are free to see need and choose to fill it - or not.
Children that want to help when they see a need are more constrained. Sometimes their parents want to give, but have no resources. Most charities that accept donations of time will not allow children to participate, for legal and liability reasons. The money that children can contribute normally does not make a dent in the need and their talents are often rejected in favor of the talents of adults or worse, written of as inconsequential.
Kids for Humanity is determined to create an environment of change, where kids can make a difference, with the help of supportive parents and local corporations and schools.
Help us help those kids that have a heart for giving. It will change lives.
